Lemon iced tea


A delicious thirst-quencher to cool you down on a hot summer day. Served ice-cold for ultimate refreshment. Enjoy!

1. Bring two litres of water to the boil in a pan or kettle.
2. Put the mint in a tea strainer. Pour boiling water through the strainer. Leave the water to cool down for a couple of minutes to around 80°C.
3. Add the green tea to the water and mint mixture, and leave to infuse for about 5 minutes.
4. Pour the tea mixture into a teapot, sweeten to taste with cane sugar and allow to cool
5. Once the tea has cooled down, add the SICILIA lemon juice to the mixture. The homemade lemon iced tea is best served with ice cubes.

4 tbsp dried mint
2 litres water
4 tbsp green tea
